Ethereal

Ethereal is not an escape.
It is what endures, despite the fall and the void.
A clarity risen from the depths, without glare, without drama.
Only the light that insists, the one that can no longer be dimmed.
This work is the after.
When awareness takes over, and there is no need to understand.
We know.
Truth persists.
Falsehood crumbles.

Description of the Work
In its painted form, Ethereal explores the fragile boundary between the visible and the invisible, translated into color and matter.
The layers of acrylic, with their luminous transparency, conceal nothing — they reveal.
The softness of the gaze, suspended in space, now takes shape in a denser materiality, where color gives breath and body to silence.
Each layer of paint affirms a recovered clarity — a calm space where vulnerability becomes presence.

Artist’s Note
Through painting, I wanted to give Ethereal a new breath.
The gesture widened, and the textures settled like layers of a self owning its light.
Color does not serve to decorate; it extends the interiority of the sketch, the transparency of the digital, to inhabit it fully.
It is a quiet, fluid affirmation, where silence becomes visible and lets itself be crossed by light.

It is no longer escape.
It is what holds,
despite the fall and the void.
A clarity risen from the depths,
without glare, without drama.
Only the light that insists,
the one that can no longer be extinguished.
Ethereal is the after.
When awareness takes over,
and we no longer seek to understand.
We know.
Truth persists, and falsehood crumbles.
